Stand Down in San Diego Starts Friday

Stand Down got its start here in San Diego back in 1988, and this weekend the tradition of providing homeless veterans with much needed care continues.

The Veteran’s Village of San Diego organizes the Stand Down, where services are made available to San Diego’s homeless veterans that most of us take for granted everyday – like getting a hot shower, clean clothes, a haircut, and maybe a visit to the dentist or doctor (read more).
