Deadly E. Coli Outbreak Prompts Changes for Troops Overseas

Home Post Blog: A deadly E. coli outbreak in Germany which has killed at least 15 people and sickened more than 1500 has prompted military food service providers in Europe to remove certain types of produce from their menus, according to the Stars and Stripes. This is a safety precaution, considering health authorities still haven’t zeroed in on the origin of the outbreak. The New York Times reports Germany’s accusations that Spanish cucumbers are to blame have been proven unfounded. (Read more)
