The term “widow” might bring to mind an elderly woman with gray hair, one who shared a lifetime with the man she loved before losing him. But Oceanside resident Katie Wade became a widow at the tender age of 20. At a time when most young women are still making the transition from adolescence to adulthood, Katie had to bury her husband of less than two years.
