Miltary Funeral Protesters Make Enemies With The KKK

Home Post Blog: Those most unappealing of folks, the members of the Westboro Baptist Church, have made some new enemies in the Ku Klux Klan. The protesters from Westboro (basically the family of Fred Phelps) decided to mark Memorial Day by demonstrating outside Arlington National Cemetery. The counter-protesters? The Knights of the Southern Cross, a local affiliate of the Klan, according to CNN. (Read more)

Only in America, as the saying goes.

Clearly, this is not one of our most shining moments. Still, at least it reminds us of the issues we have in our own backyard.
