Tonight, indie-rock icon Bob Mould, former singer and guitarist of Husker Du and Sugar, will read from his recently published autobiography, "See a Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody," and also perform at The Casbah. And on Friday it's DJ Bob Mould, DJ Rich Morel and Blowoff at The Casbah.

The first round of chemo didn’t work for former CityBeat contributor Kia Bowman Momtazi, a young Persian-American woman recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Tonight's event at Tiger! Tiger! is a benefit for her and an attempt to raise awareness about Be the Match, the national bone-marrow registry. Tiger!Tiger! is located at 3025 El Cajon Blvd., and the event is tonight from from 5 to 10pm. A portion of proceeds will benefit Be the Match.

Radical New York rapper Immortal Technique is enthusiastic about Occupy Wall Street, and his music reflects his strong political beliefs. Art of War is a battle between three local art crews for top honors in creativity, speed, and originality. Live music, gallery show, and food trucks will also be at the event. It runs 7pm to 10pm on Monday, November 21 at The Moniker Warehouse.
