California National Guard Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

California National Guard Spc. Sean M. Walsh died in Afghanistan on November 16 of "injuries sustained after encountering indirect fire," according to the Department of Defense. The 21-year-old Walsh was from San Jose, and was assigned to the 185th Military Police Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade in Pittsburg, California.

A friend of Walsh's posted a tribute video to him today on YouTube. Sgt. Salazar wrote:

I would like to share the life of SPC Walsh while on our deployment and how he greatly impacted so many soldiers in many ways. Hey Walsh, I will continue to capture all these special moments in life with my camera but will miss every time you said, "Hey Salsa" and posed for a picture... You will be missed but never forgotten.
