A power outage in Hillcrest left 4,435 SDG&E customers without power Friday afternoon, according to the utility, but power was quickly restored.
Customers in Old Town, Mission Hills, Hillcrest, University Heights, North Park and Normal Heights lost power just after 2 p.m. Power was restored by 4:30 p.m., according to SDG&E.
The utility blamed the outage on a problem with the overhead electrical system.
