Camp Pendleton Plans 21-Gun Salute For Independence Day

Camp Pendleton is planning a 21-Gun Salute to celebrate the Fourth of July, and warning folks who live within a 50-mile radius of the base there's a chance they'll hear it.
According to a base news release, Camp Pendleton artillery units will perform the 21-gun ceremonial salute from noon to 12:05 p.m. today.
The salute will take place at 21 Area of Del Mar Beach Resort near Oceanside Harbor.
