Guitar teacher, Marlene Hutchinson explains her simple method of guitar playing that has helped thousands of busy adults learn to play in just one day. She discuss chords, music theory, strumming techniques, tempo and timing. She also demonstrates how to properly tune your guitar.

Marlene began teaching people to play guitar in 2003. She teaches privately in Orange County, California to students of all ages and skill levels. She also created and teaches the "Learn to Play Guitar in a Day!" workshops through out the western United States. Marlene's Music has a line of quality guitar products and accessories.

KPBS is offering tickets to a one-day workshop that will be held at KPBS on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
