Camp Pendleton Marine Arrested For Killing Navy Veteran

A Camp Pendleton Marine corporal named Kevin Albert Richard Coset has been arrested in connection with the murder of Navy veteran Alvin Bulaoro.

San Diego County Sheriff's Capt. Duncan Fraser told the Associated Press that Coset, 23, was taken into custody Friday night at Camp Pendleton. He is being held without bail at the Vista Detention Facility.

Bulaoro, 24, was last seen alive on December 21. His family reported him missing shortly thereafter. San Diego Sheriff's deputy Lt. Glenn Giannantonio told the Los Angeles Times Bulaoro's body was discovered January 3rd in the parking lot of a Fallbrook Albertson's grocery story:

Bulaoro's body was found in the back of his Toyota 4Runner... The body was "zipped up in a sleeping bag and had signs of trauma."

In addition to being a veteran of the Navy, Bulaoro was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve, according to the L.A. Times.
