Federal Appeals Court Strikes Down Utah's Same-Sex Marriage Ban

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday that Utah's same-sex marriage ban violates the U.S. Constitution. The decision marks the first time that a federal appeals court ruled on the issue, asserting that states' same-sex marriage bans are unconstitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment.
