The odd saga of former San Diego State Aztecs running back Adam Muema continued Thursday.

Football players from across the country ran timing and agility drills before dozens of NFL scouts at SDSU's Pro Day. However, Muema was not one of them.
The 21-year-old decided to leave college after his junior year for a shot at the pros. Then, last month, he inexplicably left the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. The combine is the biggest showcase for NFL hopefuls.
In a Tweet, Meuma said God told him to leave. Later, he claimed it was God who told him to stay at a Florida airport for three days after he left Indiana.
"We have to respect his reasons," Howard Williams said, a sports agent who came to the Pro Day to see his client Walter Kazee, another Aztecs running back.
Muema was scheduled to take part in the SDSU Pro Day. Not showing up, Williams explained, will cast a shadow on his prospects.
"It depends on what teams are looking at him, and there may still be teams that are interested. But it did cast doubt on his abilities," Williams said.
Muema rushed for 1,244 yards and 15 touchdowns last season. ESPN Scouts Inc. has ranked him the 24th best running back in the draft.
Players who worked out Thursday will have to wait for the NFL Draft in May to know their fate. Those not picked can still be signed to teams following the draft.
