The military is investigating the untimely death of Marine Corps Maj. Ryan Hansen, 41, who died after a physical training run in Germany on Nov. 7.
The Marine Corps Times reports Hansen collapsed during the run, and was rushed to Sindelfingen hospital near Boeblingen, where he was pronounced dead.
Hansen was a sustainment division head at Marine Corps Forces Europe, which is based in Stuttgart.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Hansen earned a B.A. in psychology from U.C. San Diego. He was a native of Orange County.
