Two Men Wounded In Possible Gang-Related Shooting In San Diego

Two men were wounded in a possibly gang-related shooting in the Mount Hope neighborhood, San Diego police said Monday.

Three men were standing in an alley off K Street near Maxim Street when two black vehicles pulled up shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, police Officer Dino Delimitros said. At least four people were in the vehicles when the gunfire erupted, striking a 28-year-old man in his back and a 41-year-old man in his elbow.

The two victims were taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, Delimitros said.
