Low pressure aloft will create cooler weather and the possibility of showers and isolated thunderstorms in San Diego County Thursday, meteorologists said.
The best chance of precipitation will be in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs in the region Thursday are expected to be in the mid-70s in coastal areas and the western valleys, high 60s to low 70s near the foothills, mid-60s in the mountains and low 80s in the deserts.
Winds will be light, according to the weather service, which said slightly warmer weather is likely Friday through early next week.
