KINGS OF THE CRAFT is a six-episode documentary series exploring the booming craft beer industry in San Diego and the community behind it. With over one hundred establishments in the county dedicating themselves to this art form San Diego is becoming a mecca for this industry. This is their story.

Episode 1: "Welcome To Crafty San Diego" repeats Thursday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 p.m. - San Diego has over one hundred establishments in the county dedicating themselves to craft beer. Through this community and lifestyle we have become a mecca for this art form and are recognized around the globe. This is the story of the people who are leading this movement...

Episode 2: "Beer Brothers" repeats Thursday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 p.m. - The thriving craft beer industry in San Diego continues to grow because of their unique attitude. They've formed a brotherhood that shares employees, ingredients, and ideas, instead of a ruthless competition for space. This camaraderie and passion for creating the best beer is one of their biggest assets. This is the story of brewers who fear not an over-crowded county but a poor quality brew.

Episode 3: "A Different Kind Of Brewer" repeats Thursday, Jan. 26 at 9:30 p.m. - A diverse culture is part of what makes San Diego such a hotspot on the map. Our culture and experiences are what constructs our lifestyle and this correlates to the beer that is made here as well. Beer is also not just a man's world, women are becoming a larger part of it as well. Here we explore the other side of the gender spectrum as we speak to ladies involved in this craft.

Episode 4: "David And Goliath" repeats Thursday, Feb. 2 at 9:30 p.m. - The classic tale of David and Goliath has been revived in a bottle of beer. Macros versus micros, the big boys and the small guys rivalry, no matter how you say it the idea is the same. Competition for market space and consumers continues as craft beer becomes ever more popular and Goliath continues to stamp his feet. Who will be the champion in the great standoff for the consumer?

Episode 5: "Once Upon A Brew" repeats Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9:30 p.m. - San Diego has a rich history involving craft beer. From bold beginnings, to a deadly bubble burst a decade ago, all the way to a victorious voyage that has defined San Diego as one of the great beer places on the planet. Take a ride through the struggles and the conquests of your favorite brewers in the craftiest history lesson around.

Episode 6: "Future Of An Empire" repeats Thursday, Feb. 16 at 9:30 p.m. - We polish the crystal ball and ask the brewers for their take on the future of craft beer in San Diego. As the nation's capital for craft all eyes are on us and with new breweries making their way into a crowded market we ask the question: Will the sun keep shining on this tasty industry or should we expect a stormy future?
