Southern California Native 'Ladies Of London' Star Out With New Cookbook
Southern California Native 'Ladies Of London' Star Out With New Cookbook GUEST:Marissa Hermer, author, "An American Girl in London: 120 Nourishing Recipes for Your Family from a Californian Expat"

Marissa Hermer of Bravo's "Ladies of London" is out with a cookbook of recipes that infuse a California flavor to British fare.

The inspiration for the recipes came from the food she was exposed to while growing up in Southern California and the British food she embraced when she moved to London in 2008.

The book has 120 recipes, including cheddar and chive scones, Lancashire hot pot, sweet potato shepherd's pie and sourdough bread-and-butter pudding with salted caramel sauce.

Hermer joined Midday Edition on Wednesday to talk about the cookbook.

Hermer will be at Warwick's in La Jolla on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. to discuss and sign her book.
