The UK version of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW returns as presenter Fiona Bruce and the team are back on the trail of the nation’s hidden treasures, visiting more of Britain’s most sumptuous and unusual locations.
Season 36 also introduces a new play-along feature – The Rogues Gallery, where viewers get the chance to see whether they can spot a fake among real treasures.
In this episode, Fiona Bruce and the team set up for another busy day at the Royal Marines Museum in Southsea, near Portsmouth in Hampshire, England.
There are some remarkable stories behind objects brought to the camera including chairs that claim to be made from timber off HMS Victory; rare spoons found in pig swill; a bangle left behind by a Russian princess; and a pile of paintings once owned by the man who inspired the character Indiana Jones.
