The Sunset Market will become the Star Spangled Market on June 30, and have a “Red, White, & Blue” theme in honor of Independence Day.

Come to The Del early on June 30 for a beach party with a live band and fireworks for overnight guests. On July 4, Coronado Island celebrates with an annual parade, community activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

The season kicks off with Star Spangled Pops, a Fourth of July event that celebrates America's birthday with the San Diego Symphony. This all-American program features hits from movies, Broadway tunes and popular music, along with a military salute.

Independence Day in Coronado is as iconic as the island and The Del itself. Coronado Island celebrates July 4th with an annual parade, a fun run/walk, rough water swim, art-in-the-park and a concert at Spreckels Park. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
