Many years ago, in the early days of public television, there was a man known to kids simply as Mister Rogers. For over 30 years, Mister Rogers would start his show by entering a living room, wearing a suit jacket. Frank Tanabe knows how important it is to vote. The 93-year-old fought for that right during World War II, and he wasn't going to let terminal cancer get in the way of casting his ballot. A photo of Tanaba voting by absentee ballot from his hospital bed has gone viral, perhaps inspiring others to exercise the right Tanabe fought for almost 70 years ago.
