At "Antiques Roadshow" in Houston, Texas, a sweet story about turtles has nothing to do with chocolates. The owner of this bronze sculpture - commissioned by her father in 1959 for $1,150 - discovers the piece is a valuable reproduction of the early 20th-century original by sculptress Edith Parsons. Entitled "Turtle Baby," the statue's celebration of the reptile has inspired the owner to populate her patio with live turtles. Appraiser Eric Silver of Lillian Nassua Ltd. estimates a value of $35,000 to $40,000, which could buy a lot of pet food!
