"Cabaret" Costume Design

As Cygnet Theatre begins previews for "Cabaret," we get a peek at the costume design and assembly for the show. Shirley Pierson, Cygnet resident artist and costume designer, has compiled a range of period costumes to be worn by patrons and guests at the seedy burlesque bar known as the KIt Kat Club.

Karson St. John, who will play the Emcee in Cygnet's production of "Cabaret," holds up one of her costumes for the show. Looking on is the director Sean Murray, who is also the artistic director of Cygnet.

In a show like "Cabaret" it's not surprising this is the men's dressing room, despite the German folk dress.
