Just steps away from the bustling Piazza della Signoria, Acqua Al 2 is tucked away where it remains as Florence's favorite charming spot. A meeting place for writers, artists, and influential Florentines to dine on exquisite food and good wine. International celebrities, such as Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Weller, Herbie Hancock, and Lauren Hutton, have also sampled the restaurant's Tuscan cuisine. Stefano, Gianni, and Lucia, the owners, combine their passions for creative Tuscan cuisine in Acqua Al 2 making it the most loved dining establishment in Florence.
On September 6, 2000, Martin Gonzalez opened the doors to the first international Acqua Al 2. The culinary adventure continues as the original dishes from Florence are now being served in the heart of the Gaslamp District in San Diego.
Acqua Al 2 is located in the historic Gaslamp District at 322 5th Avenue, between J and K. It is open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11:30am to 2:00pm and nightly beginning at five o'clock in the evening.
Happy Hour:
Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All day long on Padre game days.
Extras:
Thursday nights 6-8pm is Aperitivo with complementary house selected hors d'oeuvres served at the bar. During this time there are drink specials on beer, wine, wells, and assorted cocktails.
