Located on beautiful Coronado Island in San Diego, Bay Books is considered San Diego County's largest general independent bookstore.
Bay Books carries a broad selection of books, from the latest published books to the established timeless classics. They boast an extensive Children's section, with books and toys for all ages. Their Military History section is excellent, in support of their friends at the North Island Naval Air Station and at the Naval Amphibious Base. In addition to books, they also offer a wonderful assortment of greeting cards, stationary, and journals. And, of course, they offer one of the largest selections of magazines, domestic and international, in Southern California.
Bay Books hosts numerous author events throughout the year. Recent authors include Newt Gingrich, Susan Vreeland, and Laurel Corona. Bay Books has served the Coronado and extended San Diego communities for sixteen years.
