Lamb's Players Theatre

Lamb’s Players Theatre is one of Southern California’s leading non-profit performing arts organizations. The resident theatre is located in the beautiful village of Coronado just over the bridge from San Diego. Their mission is To Tell Good Stories Well.

Lamb’s Players is an artist-directed company providing a home for a resident company of actors, directors and designers. You will see the work of a group of artists who have worked together over 20 years – and each year you’ll also meet new faces.

The theatre maintains an active Educational Outreach, annually taking Touring performances to tens of thousands of students in schools throughout the Southwest.

Encouragement of New Work
Along with presenting the classics and lesser known gems of the theatre, LPT has produced over 38 World Premieres and more than 35 Regional Premieres.

You’ll find a beautiful and intimate 350 seat resident theatre in Coronado’s historic Spreckels Building just two blocks north of the world famous Hotel del Coronado. An annual 5 play Season runs February through November, with December filled with a variety of Christmas productions.

Each year they set out a wide-ranging theatrical banquet, served from a varied and delicious menu – zesty musicals, robust dramas, rich comedies and adventurous world premieres.

In addition to a year-round production schedule in Coronado, they also produce longer running shows at the Horton Grand Theatre. And each December they invite you to step back 100 years for An American Christmas in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel del Coronado.
