LEGOLAND® California is a 128-acre park geared specifically towards youngsters ages two through 12. With over 50 family rides, "hands-on" attractions and shows, LEGOLAND® California provides education, adventure and fun in this first park of its kind in the United States.
In addition to LEGOLAND® California (opened March 20, 1999), there are currently 3 LEGOLAND® parks in the world - LEGOLAND® Billund in Denmark marked its 40th anniversary in 2008; LEGOLAND® Windsor outside of London opened in 1996 and LEGOLAND® Deutschland in Germany opened the Spring of 2002.
LEGOLAND® California Resort now features the world’s first and only LEGOLAND Water Park. The centerpiece is a 45-foot-tall tower designed to immerse children in the creative world of LEGO. The Water Park also features more than 20 LEGO models including giant LEGO friends who splash or spray water on guests, two sandy beach wading areas, retail shops and snack carts.
The park is divided up into 11 sections: The Beginning, Sea Life, Dino Island, DUPLO Village, Miniland USA, Imagination Zone, Land of Adventure, Castle Hill, Fun Town, Pirate Shores and the Water Park.
