Award-winning art and internationally acclaimed artists are only part of the story. The SDWS is also an important supporter of arts education for all ages. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, SDWS performs a variety of services for educational institutions in the San Diego area.

On the First Friday of each month, The San Diego Watercolor Society hosts a reception to present the month's new exhibition. From as many as 200 pieces presented, the top 100 are selected for exhibition and sale.
