Brad Martin

Brad Martin, an announcer for KPBS Radio, has more than 28 years of radio and voice-over experience. Although he began his broadcasting career in news, Brad has been a successful rock 'n' roll DJ at radio stations across the nation.
During the 1980s, he was the highest rated mid-day DJ for a soft-rock station in Miami and hosted a popular lunch-time program for an oldies station in Washington, D.C. In the 1990s, Brad hosted the morning show for a Virginia radio station before moving to San Diego to work as the morning drive host for the classic-rock radio station, THE PLANET. His voice is heard as the station identification announcer for radio stations in Alaska, Dallas, San Diego and on the east coast.
Brad has received two Addy awards for creative writing and producing.
