Discussion Guide: Into the Beautiful North

"Into the Beautiful North," by Luis Alberto Urrea is the story of a girl who realizes one day that that the men in her hometown in Mexico have all gone north. She decides to go north herself and recruit men to repopulate the town and protect it from bandidos.
