Each year, the Friends of the San Diego Public Library inviting all fourth, eighth and tenth graders in San Diego to submit essays addressing a number of literary-based prompts. KPBS and the San Diego Public Library featured Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea as one of the 2012 One Book, One San Diego selections. This video captures a special "flash mob" that interprets the story and was choreographed by Eveoke Dance Theater.
