How The Internet Forgets Nothing

Regarding the part of the show about employers asking interviewers to show them their Facebook profile: I'm not sure I'd work for an employer who asked me to do that. Why not search my home as well?

And for the woman who got denied her teaching credentials over a photo of her drinking - that's lame.

Hopefully when the social networking generation grows up and is in the workplace, issues like this will not matter.

How Technology Affects Etiquette And Social Interaction

It's always interesting to hear different perspectives regarding Facebook. I think what Facebook affords is awareness of all the people you have met in life - and you can lightly keep in touch with them. Without it, you might only run into those people once in a blue moon; and with Facebook, when you do run into these people, you'll at least have some idea of what's been going on in there lives.

I think it's a great addition to the forms of communication: telephone and in-person.
