Is it possible to obtain the coconut pie recipe from Marston's? I remember it well once Marston's became The Broadway. My mother & I would go to either Marston's or The Broadway for lunch and we always saved room for this pie!
Best remembered dinner was over 30 years ago. Lubach's on the waterfront. Our first anniversary! I had duck which was very good, but the baked potato was incredible. The waiter mixed the sour cream etc. tableside! It was really a great show! Not only was the food fabulous for those days but the service was outstanding! The waiter knew we were newleyweds & really took care of us! I haven't had that great service since that time. Were oh were are the great waiters & waitresses? Really most places that consider themselves fantastic restaurants have horrible service! How can this be remedied? I really want to know! The owners & managers need to have classes in the right ways to serve a table. At times it is really embarrassing esp when the dinner is so costly!

What's the Best Meal You Ever Ate?
