Protesters In Murrieta Turn Back Buses With Migrant Families

Missionfailed and Duck,

Mayor Long is 110% correct and a HERO for standing up to the US government's abuse of these kids and our communities.

I have heard him say numerous times on camera that the Murrieta BP Station is nothing but a jail and his first concern is for the safety and care of the children.

The humane thing to do is to process them at temporary holding facilities in Texas and return them to Central America within 72 hours.

It should be done, it can be done, and it will fix the problem.

More San Diego Refugee Girls Are College Bound, Flipping The Cultural Script

Shouldn't they wish to go home to Somalia?

To take the incredible gift of a world-class education and the experience of a civil society back to their homeland where they need it so desperately?

Repatriation of American educated Somalis is the best way to improve Somalia.

Keeping them here seems like a crime against humanity.

Donations To Help Undocumented Migrants In San Diego Pour In

All government expenses should be billed to the so-called Border Angels.

More like Border Devils for causing the suffering of thousands of children.

Why? Thousands more will now be encouraged to make the dangerous trip north with many being forced into sex slavery or killed along the way.

The suffering and blood of those children is on the hands of the Border Devils.

Feds Booed In Murrieta After Migrant Standoff

"Murrieta Mayor Alan Long... said the city will track any spending it does over the issue and send a "big fat bill" to Washington.

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone, was wildly cheered after calling for secure borders and denouncing what he called the "exploitation" by the federal government of the traumatized women and children immigrants."

I'm am so proud that California still has some honorable politicians who are willing to stand up to the incompetence and corruption of the US government.

Supervisor Stone and Mayor Long should consider running for governor or perhaps a Gov/Lt.Gov team! We need them to help defend ALL of California!

Your argument is nothing but an empty, baseless rant.

1. The PEOPLE are citizens. Economic class is irrelevant.

2. I would not have applauded. I believe protesting is a fundamental right.

3. I don't listen to Rodger Hedgecock.

Well said JM!

Clearly Washington isn't protecting the interests or security of its citizens anymore.

Now it is up to citizens to protect their own interests as we saw today in Murrieta.

Californians spontaneously standing up to corrupt federal power!

What an amazing show of citizen strength! I thought all was lost in California, but no, our strength is growing!

Where is Pan B? We need to assemble in San Diego and turn them away again!

I am so proud of my fellow Californians!

Contraception Coverage Still Required In California Despite SCOTUS Ruling

This article highlights states' rights and I am pleased to see it!

The ACA is now (at least in part) unconstitutional, but it can be enacted by the states individually, if they wish.

That is the way all federal actions should be. Up to each state to support or reject.

So if you believe in reproductive rights for women, live in California. If you don't, live in Texas.

Obama Says He Will Use Executive Action To Address Immigration System

Duck my friend,

There is NO constitutional mention of executive orders. Every time executive power is mentioned in the Constitution (war, treaties, appointments etc) it is with the advice and consent of Congress. Never without.

The only unchecked executive power is issuing pardons for federal crimes.

To answer your last question, YES, I would have a problem with a conservative president using executive authority. Ideology is irrelevant.

Good point Duck.
