Hometowns Of Undocumented Central American Children Among World's Most Violent

With the current weak policies towards illegal aliens, particular in California, I would not trust the processing center (and their laughable 6 ft chain link fence) to keep them there until deportation.

If they escape, Sacramento will turn them into burdens that we can never get rid of.

If we put 1/10th of the money spent on the pointless Iraq/Afghan wars towards combating human trafficking and assisting the governments of Mexico and Central America, it would pay us back 10 fold by reducing illegal aliens and their drain on our public services, economy, and culture.

Unlike Iraq/Afghanistan, which pays us back in nothing but body bags and refugees.

Obama Says He Will Use Executive Action To Address Immigration System

"...on my own, without Congress." - Barack Obama

...or the Constitution or the American people.

You sure are on your own, Obama.

Encinitas' Surfing Madonna Has Place To Call Home

This is exactly the way it should be done! The constitutional separation of church and state is upheld and everyone is happy!

I'm glad they found a good place for it off of public land and are able to raise money for its maintenance.

They should do the exact same with the Mt. Soledad cross.

U.S. Supreme Court Stays Out Of Mt. Soledad Cross Dispute

How long has it been since the cross was ruled unconstitutional and ordered to be removed?

How about we remove the cross now, and if the cross people are successful after another 30 years of appeals, they can put it back up at that time.

As it stands now, the cross is a glaring symbol of the violation of the Bill of Rights.

That is not San Diego. We are not proud of that.

Remove it today.

Escondido Planning Commission Rejects Shelter For Immigrant Children

When I compare your post to that of Warhawks1980 (who was actually there) it seems like YOU are the one trying to foment hatred. Not just of the citizen driven political process, but of individual people who wish to voice their opinion.

Also, did Chairman Jeff Weber actually say that? Are you telling the truth?

A Conversation With Civil-Rights Leader Dolores Huerta

Please explain how my comment was a violation of the usage agreement as I can't see how in the world it was.

It appears, at least in this case, the usage agreement being used as a cover to censor opinions.

Mass deportations have been done, most successfully in the 1950s under Eisenhower. The goal was 1,000 deportations per day and to transport them at least 500 miles south of the border with an organized fleet of buses and ships.

It was much more successful than anticipated with 50,000 deportations in the first month with an additional 480,000 fleeing to Mexico on their own.

Mass deportations are feasible logistically, it is just the political will that lacks.

Illegal aliens are too valuable as slaves for the agri-industry. Deportation removes the labor source and amnesty removes the slave status. So absolutely nothing will be done unless someone figures out a way to get Americans to accept a steep increase in the price of produce.

Also, I have no idea why Reagan is a hero to Republicans either.

Covered California Drops Ball With Non-English Speakers, Report Says

Why just 11? Why such an arbitrary number?

Why not the next 37 or 56 or 112 most common languages?

What about that one guy who speaks only Aramaic?

How about paying millions to translate it into Egyptian hieroglyphics?

You never know, the Sun God Amun-Ra might be in need of healthcare.

Oh wait here is the reason:

"The Institute's report recommends that the exchange divert support away from large, statewide organizations, and give it to smaller, local groups..."

Meaning themselves! Obamacare is nothing but a greedy dash for government money.

Obama Asks For $500 Million To Train, Equip Syrian Rebels

Does Obama know that the rebels in Syria are ISIS, the same group that he is fighting in Iraq?

The last time I checked giving a half billion to an enemy force is treason and an impeachable offense.

Am I missing something? This is so truly insane it seems like a joke.
