I am supportive of creative ideas to cut the deficit, as well as to be "green" in the city. I do think Coucilman Faulconer would need to consider if the street lights have meters to measure the power generated, if it would be sold back to SDG&E. In similar solar projects, where net energy is collected and sold back, a meter is required. Just a thought and this may just need more exploration. Let's keep looking for out of the box solutions, absolutely!
