Teen Review: 'Sucker Punch'

Lidia you did a good review overall. The only thing i have to fix is that Baby Doll did not accidently kill her sister; it was actually her dad that did the deed. It's a simple mistake to make after the movie since the whole scenario is in the beginning and only lasts about 10 minutes if that. As for your questions at the end of your third paragraph, i share the same curiosity; but after a while I didn't care too much it's funny to have your mind fill in the gaps. I have to disagree with your opinion on the weakly established characters. I do not believe they were weakly established, maybe not as good as some characters in other films but they were not weak in my opinion. Also i believe that only having one girl survive made the story a bit better and moved it away from a "Disney" ending. I believe the film is what it makes itself out to be in all the previews, a beat 'em up with chicks. So don't expect so much from a film that shows what it is. But overall i liked your review; maybe not you’re strongest but still good.

Teen Review: 'Exit Through the Gift Shop'

Although your review is good, it felt kind of empty to me. I felt there was a lack of details on the characters themselves. The movie runs on these character because they are the artists that make the art. So in my opinion you would need to go more into detail about the characters. Also i didn't quite hook onto your idea of this being a prank. You say that maybe "the whole film is a prank" but you don't show the reasoning behind that idea. I feel your previous reviews are far better then this one. Maybe you just were not as into it as you claim, but that is just what I am feeling from reading your review

Teen Review: 'It's Kind of a Funny Story'

I give this review a good old two thumbs up. Jesus, you give a very good summarized plot to the readers. What i like is that you don't sway us into seeing it or not seeing it, you leave us with the choice. I do have to talk about the big problem at hand, like the writers have before me, and i must say that it is sad to see a serious problem covered up by a simple love story. Although i have to say i wouldn't go plan on seeing a depressing movie, i would however say okay to a depressing movie that enlightens you on the growing problem of teen suicides. From reading this, i believe that the directors probably should have shown more of the big issue instead of the over done simple love story. But hey that's what they believe the public would want and maybe thats what some wanted. But then again like Lidiaislaw said it "could also see it as love overcoming any obstacle", so maybe the director wanted to take this direction instead of the direction we think it should have been. But either way I want to see this movie for myself so I can make my own thoughts about it and again good review of the movie, can't wait to go see it!
