Hillary Clinton Popular Attraction At Warwick's In La Jolla

The trust fund joke was in gest. (Kudos to you and your family for overcoming difficult circumstances.) "1 large" is 1,000. Let's just have a friendly wager about 2016 with the other regulars. I'm not Hillary's biggest fan, but she's a lock in my opinion. She has the female vote, the anti-Tea Party vote, and the "Obama remorse" vote.

JM,

Care to lose some of your trust fund money? I'll throw down 1 large on her. How about you?

From 2017 to 2025, we'll be oversaturated with news about President Clinton 24/7. As others have pointed out, the book tour and recent marketing blitz are just the beginning.

Shoppers Get San Diego Grocery Store To Clean Up Its Act

Ritchie,

You nailed it! Why are you wasting your time on this comment board when you should be solving the world's problems? I'm sure Obama will be calling you any second now to get your advice.

JM,

Thanks for the dissertation on cultural anthropology. You guys are super-big jerks if you spout-off like that just because someone is photographed buying beer. The story is about improved shopping conditions, not the opportunity costs associated with buying beer as they may or may not pertain to perceived economic disadvantages. While we're on the subject of stereotypes, don't you guys have cocaine to buy? Pornography to view? Or, Middle Eastern countries to invade and make a mess of? Why am I thinking you guys are rocking the lame "surbuban pseudo-surfer dad" look with flip-flops while contemplating McDonald's vs Taco Bell.

Poll: Half Of Californians Still Support Obama

I'd be okay with the current Congressional stalemate if it weren't for the fact that California, New York and Texas support 40 out of the 50 states and have very little to show for it. Paltry, non-tax generating, inconsequential states get in the way of progress and make way too much noise.

Netanyahu Says Israel Has Proof Hamas Is Behind Kidnapping Of Teens

JM,

I use the circular political spectrum, so "leftist" doesn't apply. (FYI: If you're trying to reverse the status quo - status quo being Obama's policies - you're the "leftist." That's why the linear political spectrum is inadequate.)

Jewish people have been victims, historically. No doubt about that. I wouldn't say the same about the country of Israel. If you were to personify Israel, it would be the 5' 7" guy who walks into a biker bar for the first time and shouts, "Who doesn't like me?" then runs behind his bigger friend when half the bar takes issue with what he said.

Netanyahu Says Israel Has Proof Hamas Is Behind Kidnapping Of Teens

Are you guys kidding? We've been listening to Israeli "advice" for almost 70 years and look what we have to show for it.Had the Mossad done anything to stop 9/11, which was hatched in their backyard, I'd let everything else go. But, "everything else" is a lot and has left us with zero credibility in the region.

Will Obama Send Military Special Forces To Iraq?

Bigger point: London and Washington cannot match wits with Moscow and Beijing. The events of the last 13 years bears that out. Our politicians are a particular brand of intelligent idiots with no street smarts whatsoever. Our foibles must be hilarious to the Chinese.

Will Obama Send Military Special Forces To Iraq?

CD and JM,

The Prime Minister of Iraq, himself, did not renew the status agreement. We had no option but to withdraw and millions of Americans were anxious to turn the page on the whole matter. Turn back the clock 7 - 8 years. A majority of Americans already believed the war was a mistake and the unthinkable - a black, junior senator from Illinois defeated the Clinton political machine and won the presidency - occurred mostly because of Obama's stance against the war. He had a mandate to follow through on the Bush administration's status agreement and end the war. After he won, Obama fell into the same old Washington trap of omni-directional placation and reversed himself on some, but not all, policies. No one is absolving Obama, but let's be serious about whose initiative it was.
