What Is Economic Impact Of Supercenters?

The thing is, these mom & pop stores that are supposedly being replaced don't offer much better benefits and pay than Wal Mart. Walmart actually has advantages of scale that may offer lower cost health benefits compared to the options of an employee of a mom & pop.

How Does Divide Between Labor And Business Impact Local Politics?

I agree it's important to distinguish between public and private sector unions. Public unions might learn something from the way private unions have successfully found ways to partner with their employers.

What Is Economic Impact Of Supercenters?

The Target in Santee added groceries and it's great. Saves a stop when I just need a few groceries. I still go to Vons when I have a long list of food.

Proposition A Is Part Of A Bigger Anti-Union Strategy

Is this an editorial or a news article?

This is one of the most left-biased pieces of reporting I have ever seen.

I'm disappointed KPBS.

East County: Political Musical Chairs

Actually I live in Lakeside, which is in East County last I checked.

My point was that East County is a more conservative area. Look at the state and national officials elected from out here.

So It's a little strange to have a left leaning commentator give us the update on a conservative area. She reveals her bias with her arguments and editorials against naming a high school after President Reagen.

I just did a quick search to find someone better, perhaps there is someone more suitable than my suggestions. I think it should be someone who better reflects the political views of the population in East County.

East County: Political Musical Chairs

Thank you for all the "disclosures" in the program today tying Miriam to her left-leaning political backing and personal positions.

Perhaps there would be a better person to give the East County update, someone more representative of the views of East County, or at least politically neutral.

Maybe someone from the East County Chamber of Commerce, ( or someone from the East County Herald ( might give us a more balanced view.
