I'm interested in the comments I'm hearing about this issue. Sadly, though, all I'm hearing about "solutions" is a) to TALK about the problem, i.e. convene a new panel/commission/board/whatever and/or b) to THROW MONEY at the problem - the trouble I have with this solution is we don't know where the money that is currently allocated for these services (law enforcement) is going i.e. no accountability.
