Army Putting The Brakes On NASCAR Sponsorship

I hope that the US Army will not totally cut off sponsorship, but will reduce the amount of sponsorship, rather. They can still put their name to this great auto racing, by providing service rather than putting money. I think an x-deal can be arranged. I still love NASCAR and the car racing still give me a high, and I am that it will be a good branding for the Army.

San Diego To Add 117 Charging Stations For Electric Cars

I own an electric car, and this is great news. In fact, I am managed to find a new one near the library where I worked. The electric car market will get a big boost from this, since it is made even more convenient for us electric car owners. There are several parts of the city that have these newly installed charging stations. I am just happy that they made it more available to us. http://www.carid.com

DUI Checkpoints In California May Soon Be Regulated

Finally, this has been long overdue. Coming from Escondido, I am familiar with DUI Checkpoints being used to impound cars of drivers without licenses. It’s an unethical way of getting money from people who certainly cannot afford it. They should be keeping the money to buy meals or much needed auto parts for their cars. With this new regulation, I hope that the DUI Checkpoints won’t be misused anymore, and it’s used to actually catch drivers who are driving under the influence of alcohol. They are the ones who could endanger their lives and the lives of others. http://www.carid.com

Toyota Executive Says Electronics Aren't At Fault

Toyota’s long-standing reputation of being a trustworthy and reliable brand has been effectively tarnished after this fiasco. I don’t understand how multi-million dollar companies lack in investing in quality assurance in checking that all its auto parts are working the way it should. It would save them plenty of lawsuits and prevent unnecessary deaths.

Following A Car Shipment From Germany To Las Vegas — via San Diego

Never knew the journey of a car could be so interesting. If you track the journey of the car parts from the factories to the car manufacturer's, it would be even more eye opening. There would be more processes involved, and it would take weeks or even months to record the whole process.

Murder Fugitive Found In Trunk Of Car At Otay Mesa Border Crossing

He took a chance against the law, and he lost. Getting across the border if you are a wanted fugitive is getting harder. Border guards are more alert nowadays, and they are armed with more high tech devices to find people hiding in their vehicles. Thankfully, this felon was apprehended before he can cause anymore harm.

Comic-Con Tourist Killed By Car Near Convention Center

I feel sorry for her. It really goes to show that one should always keep an eye out for in coming traffic whenever you want to cross the road. You can never assume that cars would be able to slow down and avoid a collision. Car accidents like this always remind me how important road safety is.

Fatal Car Crash In Mali Reveals Secret U.S. Army Presence

I feel sorry for the families of the deceased. These men might have been secret operatives, but I am sure that they were there to protect the peace, and they had to leave their families behind to finish their mission. They have my fullest respect.
