I know you've wrapped the show. I was driving while listening and did not make it home in time to phone. I am appalled that your guests speak so easily about the death penalty, even seeming to condone the practice of "taking it off the table" for accused murderers. No one is considered for the death penalty unless some other person has been brutally murdered. The victim did not have the choice of life in prison. The victim had no choice at all. Chelsea King certainly did not. I'm sure her parents would prefer she be imprisoned for life where they could at least visit and correspond with her. WHY do the perpetrators of these horrible crimes get treated with the mercy they never granted their victims? I don't know how some of these defense attorneys justify their actions. It is not sufficient to say, "It's the law."
