The market will recover when prices adjust to the long term sustainable ratios to incomes and rents. The thing that was temporary was the bubble, the the decline in prices IS the correction.
Also, I disagree with the guest, rising prices aren't good for everybody. There is a buyer and seller in every transaction. The most you can say is the CORRECT prices are good for everyone. Equilibrium won't be achieved until the unprecedented accommodation by the Federal Government and Federal Reserve end.
When a person is suffering from a hangover they have 2 choices to solve the discomfort1) Get drunk again2) Get sober
I feel the later is the better choice.
