This has nothing whatsoever to do with "cultural bias" and EVERYthing to do with protecting our environment (frog and turtle imports) AND keeping sharks from becoming threatened. And then there is the animal cruelty issue of cutting of "limbs" and tossing a living animal back into the sea. Watch the video if you want to see the horrific practice and the resulting struggle to swim while sinking to death. Contrary to claims, the entire shark is NOT utilized--it's an enviro and animal waste. Frogs and turtles in the live markets are kept in deplorable unsanitary conditions. It's a full-fledged human poisoning disaster waiting to happen. Support the shark finning bill and create another to stop the live frog/turtle markets. The "cultural bias" claim is a smokescreen.
