Many School Districts Facing Budget Shortfall

Think about what the government is encouraging.
A child has a mother or father who cannot even bother to put mayo on some bread with some cheese?
A parent who cannot be bothered to buy lunch ingredients at the store (where it would be less expensive).
The unspoken message to the child, is that the parent doesn't care.
Have parents pay back once the child is raised.
I have proposed this "pay back" idea to a legislator and been ignored.
So much for ideas on how to stay solvent.

Many School Districts Facing Budget Shortfall

One huge expense to all of us is the school lunch program. Increasingly, children qualify for free school lunch - in some areas over 50% - even in Oregon or other parts north.
The federal budget is approximately $9 BILLION for school lunches, but it doesn't stop there. There is the Breakfast and After-School Snack program.
Where does this end?
Why can't parents feed their own children?
Unfortunately, the embarrassment of being poor is no longer preventing people from grabbing as much as they can.
Parents should be required to do something in return for benefits. I'm sure they can manage to buy lunch for their children - or make it at home for a few cents.

I knew this would happen. They do not care about our children.
They do not even care about their own children.
They could come up with some nice products, but no.
