KPBS has a planned power outage, due to set up of our new backup generator, scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., impacting our live stream, FM and TV.
One more very disappointed in the new format. We enjoyed listening to classical music in the evening and then as we went to sleep, and waking to news in the morning. Exposure to different classical genres and explanations was instructive and enjoyable. The balance between music and news was perfect. Yes, classical music is available on internet radio, however, not on many bedroom clock radios and other sound systems. You have lost another listener and occasional supporter.
As an aside, a phrase repeated becomes trite and annoying. "Where news matters," as a slogan, has become an annoying phrase.
To my regret, we will be listening to another station in the future. Goodbye.
