Roundtable: Race For San Diego County District Attorney

Did I miss the part where Dumanis answered Brewer's simple yes or no question regarding whether she called the mayor of Chula Vista about getting her gofer appointed to the City Council?

Prosecutor Confirms Records Sought By KPBS Exist In DA's Office

Even more dissembling if not outrights lies by Bonnie Dumanis. She says the records don’t exist and it’s learned she had them all along. Maybe she just forgot…the same way she forgot who else was present or what was discussed when the went to the Mexican money bundler’s mansion and yet her mayoral campaign benefited from $200,000 spent on her behalf.

So much for transparency in the Dumanis administration. What other secrets are yet to be revealed. If Amita Sharma doesn’t get some kind of award for investigative journalism for all the dirt, lies, and corruption she has unearthed, something is seriously the matter.

San Diego County DA Dumanis Lags In Fundraising Among Legal Professionals

I'm curious about contributions from current deputy DAs to Dumanis. Does that mean she has abandoned her pledge following the campaign against Paul Pfingst to NEVER take contributions from her own deputies? Or is it another example of Dumanis bending the truth to fit her latest agenda?

Phone Call Raises Questions About DA Dumanis' Chula Vista Investigations

With Bonnie Dumanis it is always about politics; public safety and the prosecutor code of ethical conduct be damned. The fact that she would jeopardize a million dollar investigation (some called it a “witch hunt”) by her own office in order to advance her “Public Affairs Officer,” a job created for her Assistant DA’s best buddy, is shocking. I’m almost glad the great Ed Miller, who always taught us to “do the right thing,” is no longer here to witness this further taint on the nationally recognized office he built. How much more of Bonnie Dumanis’ questionable and unethical conduct are people going to take?
