Tension Growing Over Role Of PTSD Service Dogs For Veterans

I know Jim Stanek and his dedication to vets. I have a self trained service dog for my PTSD (Vietnam combat vet) and can not imagine living life without her. She is an Airedale Terrier and I trained her to my specific needs. I used a professional trainer in Wisconsin for her accreditation. I can demonstrate five things she specifically does for me and she does a lot more on her own since we are so "in tune" with each other.
While her breed is unusual for this task, she preforms flawlessly. I would not have any faith in a Labrador or similar breed. "Babe" processes the exact temperament I need and allows me to leave my gun at home.
I have hundreds of hours invested in her and dare any authority to question her value to me; they didn't go to war, I did.
