AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio Greeted By Protesters in San Diego

Wow....Interesting comments. It continues to amaze me that the main stream news media (and conservative on the other end) have taken sides and blatantly promote their agendas. The comment above states there were a least as many supporters at the appearance yet none were quoted or acknowledged.

Shame on NBC and KPBS.

San Diego City Council Fine Tunes 'Reform Before Revenue' Initiative

In 2006 the voters approved an outsourcing measure. Our "Labor Controlled" Council refuses (that's right refuses!) to implement. Why would I believe they would do it in yet another ballot? Fool me once shame on you foll me twice shame on me.

Costs And Benefits Of Illegal Immigration Are Unequally Distributed

Alison St John is full of it !! Her information is made up or flawed. I cannot speak for the agricultural work force but I have worked in the hospitality industry in San Diego for over a decade. We do not hire illegal immigrants. The workers are documented. Additionally in the summer tourist season the work force is largely local students.

Tea Partiers In San Diego Hear From GOP Contenders

I'm not sure who gives Shane Finneran his talking points, but the republicans will have a great effect on democrats and not because of the tea party. The deficit, and tax burden set increase over the next four years and the unfavorable business environment which doesn't seem to be recognized or is gnored by the current majority will be their demise.
I hate to put it so bluntly (and I am not a Tea Party enthusiast) the "Coffee Party " is a joke. Why would a journalist place their comments so prominently in a news article?
