I am so glad that this method of teaching has caught on and that we are seeing many examples of successful flipped classroom models across the country. We should continue to applaud these teachers for providing differentiated and personalized instruction to their students - the type of instruction that we know is critical for achievement and success. Well done!
These teachers referenced spending a summer researching the best ways to record lessons using screencast techniques, which is great - and quite technologically advanced. I have found a research-based method for flipping the classroom that that can be implemented by any teacher, the next day, without developing the advanced screen capture/computer skills: http://www.fi.ncsu.edu/project/fizz/p...
Again, great work!
