Who Will Lead The Republican Party In California?

Funny, every time I read an article about the republican party, the "non Partisan" consultant commentaries couldn't sound more liberal than the entire Kennedy Klan....

Clashes Over Police Checkpoints And Deportations Increasing In Escondido

All people go thru the checkpoint- not just Hispanics, All people get asked questions- not just Hispanics. Fortunately we have a country that has laws, and we have branches of law enforcement to enforce those laws. If anyone does not comply with laws they are conducting illegal activities and will be held accountable for their non compliance of the law. People who do comply with law have no problem, thank you for following the law. The check points are a proven valuable resource for law enforcement to capture people who choose to not comply with laws, thus removing the non compliant law breakers. I believe that if you are a US citizen you must have in your possession while operating a motor vehicle; license and proof of insurance. If any one of these is missing your car should be impounded, you should be fined, and must prove compliance before you get your car back because you are non compliant with the law. If you are not a US citizen you must have documentation that proves you are in this country legally if you do not, you are non compliant, and should be detained until you either get proof or face deportation. Thank you Maher for enforcing the laws.

Controversial Mailer In Escondido Makes Immigration A Local Issue

Has anyone he drove down East Valley Parkway latley? With your eyes open? We need a strong and smart mayor to clean up this town. A mayor that is willing to address the elephant in the room. A mayor that is going to have to address some real tough issuse that aren't going to be popular with people who aren't able to vote.

Controversial Mailer In Escondido Makes Immigration A Local Issue

Ruxi, again taking an overwhelmingly liberal opinion. Ruxi, if you live in Escondido (doubtful), I suggest YOU take an opinion poll on this subject, that only LEGAL citizens that live in Escondido are aloud people participate in. I await your results. Until then I suggest that you try to see things from an Escondidans point of view, or at least try to balance your ilk laden stories with some conservative points of views from people who actually live legally here in Escondido.

LGBT Students Protected at Cal State San Marcos and SDSU

We all came from God, God loves all of us, God wants us to love each other, not opress, prejudice, judge or hate. You can love all people, but you do not have to agree with their lifestyle, or choices in life. God is the final judge, let God be the judge of that.

Two Beheaded Men Hung From Bridge In Tijuana

Just a few days ago, Mexico's President touted Tijuana as a success in his four year old drug war.

Yeah, just like saying the Titanic had a sucessful maiden voyage in April of 1912...

Latinos Are Majority In Escondido, But Feel Targeted By Police

"Mexicans and other immigrants just come to the US to do the jobs that no Americans want to do, that is a fact."
What a bunch of hooey!
This is a fact.
My grandparents migrated to California from Oklahoma (as did thousands, and thousands of American citizens did), during the great dustbowl. They were field workers. They couldn't get a job in California because of all the migrant workers from Mexico, China, and Philippines were willing to work for an un-survivable wage, and therefore not considered until they were willing to work under the same conditions. My best friend had a roofing company that was very successful, until he and his workers could no longer compete with the undercutting bids that were generated by companies that employ illegal aliens for a mere pittance that of what a American citizen used to make and live off of. my brother in law had the same thing happen to his company, my brother in the chicken farming industry, in Arkansas, the same darn thing. This could go on forever….
This is The United States of America, we have laws, we have people who break laws, we have people who enforce these laws. If you don’t like this, I suggest you go live in a country where there is no law and maybe you wouldn’t be offended like you are here, by the people who want a country that has and enforces law.
